Andrew “Drew” McLaughlin is a dedicated trial lawyer who represents people seeking justice in the civil or criminal courts throughout South Florida. Drew McLaughlin attended Dickinson College in Pennsylvania, where he received Bachelors of Arts degrees in both History and Spanish. After thoroughly devoting himself to his studies, he graduated magna cum laude. He then turned his focus to law school at the University of Florida’s Levin College of Law in Gainesville, FL. He continued to consistently apply himself as both a student and a Certified Legal Intern for the State Attorney’s Office. In addition, he was honored with a Book Award for Trial Practice before graduating with his juris doctor.
After earning his license to practice law in Florida, Drew McLaughlin gained a range of experience, including pursuing litigation as a personal injury and wrongful death attorney. He also gained valuable trial experience as an assistant public defender for the 17th Judicial Circuit in Broward County, FL. He continues to apply these years of experience to benefit every client, no matter how challenging the situation.

Jeffrey L. Morris
Jeffrey L. Morris, Founding Partner at McLaughlin Morris, P.A., leads the Criminal Defense Practice at McLaughlin Morris. As an experienced criminal law attorney and a former prosecutor, he defends individuals charged with a variety of criminal offenses with an emphasis on economic and white collar crimes. From his office in Delray Beach, FL, he represents clients throughout Palm Beach County, FL. He also has an office in Miami and represents clients thorugh Broward County and Miami-Dade County, FL.
Jeff Morris also represents clients in personal injury cases as he helps his clients obtain justice after they become a victim of negligence and other wrongful acts. With more than 15 years experience, Jeff Morris has been practicing law in Florida since 2005.
Criminal Law Experience
As an Assistant State Attorney in the 17th Judicial Circuit in Broward County, FL, Jeff Morris prosecuted criminal cases for nine years. Six of those years were focused exclusively in the Economic Crimes Unit in Broward County where he represented the State of Florida in white collar crimes and financial crimes cases such a money laundering, identity theft, embezzlement, investment fraud, healthcare fraud, mortgage fraud, tax fraud, insurance fraud, and others.
Having participated in over 45 jury trials during his tenure, Jeff Morris understands how the State Attorney’s Office works when pursuing charges and how it will build its case. He will use that knowledge to develop the strongest possible defense for you and to fight aggressively for the best possible resolution in your case.
Attorney Jeff Morris also has significant experience with a variety of other types of misdemeanor and felony cases, including drug possession, drug trafficking, driving under the influence, theft, burglary, robbery, battery, aggravated battery, arson, and attempted murder.

Jeff Morris earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he achieved the Book Award in Trial Practice. During law school, Mr. Morris clerked for the Honorable Raymond T. McNeal, Circuit Judge in Florida’s 5th Judicial Circuit in Ocala, FL. He also interned for the State Attorney’s Office in Gainesville, FL.
Mr. Morris obtained his Bachelor of Science in Decision Information Science. He earned a Masters of Science in Sports Management from the University of Florida.
